For Baby's Sake Team Manager and Therapeutic Lead, Brenda Evans, and Jacqueline Barrick, Family Support and Programme Officer, attended Welwyn Hatfield, Hertsmere and St Albans Domestic Abuse conference in March 2019. This was the 13th annual conference, this year the focus was on domestic abuse amongst young people.
Jaqueline Barrick gave a presentation on 'Giving Children a Voice', providing an introduction to some of the play therapy used by Hertfordshire's For Baby's Sake team.
Other speakers also examined the impact of domestic abuse on young people, with topics including housing and life in refuge shelters.
