The Stefanou Foundation has developed a unique collaboration with Cambridgeshire County Council, building on our investment and experience so far to bring For Baby’s Sake to the county, aiming to maximise our impact for those facing the most difficult of circumstances. The County Council’s resources have been matched with philanthropic funding to establish our third For Baby’s Sake team, initially covering Cambridge City, South and East Cambridgeshire. The team brings together a range of backgrounds and experience and For Baby’s Sake opened for referrals in August 2019.
Our aim is to work together to deliver change for local families with complex needs, to embed innovative practice across systems and services within the county and, finally, to generate the evidence of impact in order to attract additional investment into Cambridgeshire and For Baby’s Sake in future. We’re delighted to be combining our energies to ensure we deliver the best outcomes for expectant parents and their babies across Cambridgeshire; increasing our knowledge of what works well.
